This seedling of H. sieboldii is from Japan. It forms a small size mound of green foliage. In late August, it produces white flowers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has been the parent plant of several named white-flowered cultivars, the most significant of these being 'Snow Mound'."

This plant may have been sold in the past as Mackwoods No. 15.
