This Tardiana-type seedling was originated by Eric Smith of England and registered on his behalf by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society in 1988. It grows to a large size plant about 19 inches in height with a spread of 42 inches. The blue-green foliage has thick substance. From late July into August, it forms purple flowers that set seed pods.
