This is one of the Tardiana-type introductions by the English hybridizer, Eric Smith. It was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) on behalf of Smith in 1988. The small size (9 inches high) mound has leaves that are slightly blue-green. The lavender, bell-shaped flowers are borne on a 16 inch scape.
