Originated by Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina, this non-registered cultivar is a hybrid of "Solberg 48/49 Best" × (H. 'Sun Shower' × H. 'Designer Genes'). This hosta starts the season bright yellow but becomes more blue-green as the season progresses especially in more shade. The petioles are purplish and the color extends up into the leaf blade.
