						  A sport of the
							species
							H. plantaginea,
				this cultivar was registered by
Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2011. It forms a
							large size
mound about 20 inches tall and 24 inches wide. The foliage is
very shiny on top and bottom. Its leaves are lightly cupped and
				nearly round with a rounded
base. The large, very fragrant white
flowers bloom from mid-July into August. This plant is more compact than
the species with smaller leaves, more substance and shorter
				flower scapes.

An article by Warren I. Pollock in
			The
Hosta Journal (2013 Vol. 44 No. 1) states that this
cultivar was incorrectly registered in 2011 as 'Double Up' but the correct name
'Doubled Up' (a baseball term) was included in the 2012 Registrations.
