						   This hybrid of
						H. 'Sieboldiana'
x H. 'Kabitan' was originated by
Eric Smith of England and registered on his behalf by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2003. It is a large size plant about 20
inches high by 44 inches wide. The foliage is shiny and
dark green. Its leaves are elongated, elliptic and
slightly rippled. Lavender flowers bloom from late
						August into September. According to

The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...flowering habits more closely match those of H. longipes. The foliage of 'Hadspen Mystique' shows
obvious hybrid characteristics, perhaps between H.
						longipes and
						H. 'Sieboldiana'."
