This Tardiana-type seedling was registered in 1988 by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith. It grows into a medium size hosta about 15 inches in height with a spread of 38 inches. The blue-green foliage has smooth texture and thick substance. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...ranks near the bottom of the Tardianas in that the foliage is not especially blue and the flowers are nothing special."
