The result of a cross of H. 'Swoosh' × H. yingeri, this cultivar was registered by Roy Herold of Massachusetts in 2000. It forms a medium size hosta about 16 inches high that spreads 36 inches wide with moderately wavy foliage. The purple flowers bloom in early August.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "The margin fades from yellow to cream. Vigorous. A multi-award winner."
