This non-registered cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Purple Haze' × H. 'Riptide' was originated in 2013 by Ronny Van Keer of Belgium. It is a medium size plant with blue-green foliage that has purple petioles and a reddish coloration to the center of the leaf which has thick substance. It bears purple flowers.
