						  According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar is a "...complex hybrid involving
				crosses of ('Yellow Splash' ×
H. tibae) x
				H. venusta,
which was then crossed with a seedling of (H. venusta x 'Shining
				Tot')" It was registered by
Hans Hansen of Minnesota in 2006. This miniature size (3 inches
high by 7 inches wide) plant has slightly wavy, lanceolate leaves that
are very shiny on the underside. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July into mid-August.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "This very small plant thrives in well-drained soil
and can take plenty of sun in cooler climates. Ideal for a small tray or at the
front of a raised bed as well as the shady side of a rock garden."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
				Diana
Grenfell (2009) states in its Miniature Hostas chapter: "Does not thrive
in all gardens but seems to enjoy a cooler climate...A superb
recent introduction for the fairy garden, rock garden or
				container."
