A hybrid of H. hypoleuca x a blue unnamed seedling was registered by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee in 1998. It is a medium to large size mound of slightly rippled, narrowly ovate foliage which changes from blue-green to shiny green over the course of the season. The near-white flowers appear from July into August.
