This cultivar is a hybrid of an unnamed seedling x H. 'Lakeside Ripples' which was registered in 2005 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. This giant size plant grows to 28 inches in height with blue-green foliage. It has "pinkish" flowers in June on branched flower scapes.

The Hosta Journal, (2006 Vol. 37 No. 2), contained an article in which several Hostaphiles were asked to give a brief list of their favorite hosta flowers. This plant was included in that list.
