This hybrid of a seedling called "Seedling 81-9" x H. 'Halcyon' is a cultivar that was originated by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts but registered on their behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. The medium size hosta has green foliage with a gold marginal variegation. 'Mount Holyoke' has leaves that are slightly rippled, ovate and slightly shiny on top. It bears tubular white flowers in July.
