  This
is a Tardiana-type
hosta that was registered by the
				British Hosta and
Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) in 1988 on behalf of hybridizer,
Eric Smith. It forms a medium size (17 inches high by 36 inches wide) mound of slightly
cupped, moderately corrugated foliage that has thick substance.
Dense clusters of white flowers bloom from late June into July
followed by viable seeds.

				 The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009) states, "The flowers of 'Osprey'
are produced early in the growing season, making the contrast
with its blue-green foliage especially attractive."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
				Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "Tolerates two hours of morning sun in cooler
climates, elsewhere prefers good light to light shade. Slow to increase."
