						  A hybrid of H. 'Breeder's Choice' ×
						H. 'Frances
Williams', this cultivar was originated by
Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts but registered by
Dr. Dick Ward of Ohio in 2009. It is a
medium size plant about 18 inches high by 30 inches wide with green foliage that
has yellow and white streaked variegation. This highly prized breeding plant has
leaves that are broadly
ovate shaped, slightly corrugated, slightly wavy and slightly
shiny on top. Very pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from late June into July
followed by viable seeds. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...has proven to be an even greater
breeding plant than its sibling, 'Pin Stripe'."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
				Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to increase. Among the best-known and most
highly regarded breeding hostas ever introduced."
