Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but has H. longipes in its background. It is a small size hosta about 9 inches high by 18 inches wide with blue-green foliage that changes to dark green later in the summer. The leaves are narrowly ovate, slightly wavy and have purple-red petioles. 

There is a hosta with a similar name of H. 'Reddy Eddy' but the descriptions differ.
