						 According to

				The Hostapedia by
			Mark Zilis (2009),
the result of a cross of
							H. ventricosa x
							H. plantaginea, this cultivar was
				developed by
Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan.
						However, it was registered by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in
						2005 as
						parentage unknown.
It is an upright, fast growing hosta that becomes a
medium to large size plant about 18 inches high by 31
inches wide. The light green leaves are moderately
cupped, slightly twisted, slightly folded and slightly
shiny on top. Deep lavender flowers bloom in August on
scapes 28 to 34 inches tall.
			 In an article in

						The
Hosta Journal (2016 Vol. 47 No 2), the author
described this plant's flowers as having a "Weak"
							fragrance compared to other hostas.
