						 This slow growing
				cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of a hybrid plant
('Dorothy Benedict' × H. montana macrophylla).
It was registered in 2001 by
Beverly and Dave Stegeman of Indiana. The plant grows to a height
of about 16 inches and a width of 48 inches with leaves that are
broadly ovate, heavily corrugated and have thick substance. Very
pale lavender flowers bloom in dense clusters starting in late
				June. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "My listed measurements from a
less-than-mature specimen are already larger than the
registration dimensions. Regardless of size, 'Skylight' offers
very thick, slug resistant foliage in an incredibly blue color
and is worth including in any collection."
