						  Clarence
Owens of Michigan registered this cultivar in 1994. It is a cross of H. 'Gold
Regal' × H. montana. It forms a large size (22 inches high) semi-upright mound of
wavy, moderately corrugated foliage. The leaves have deeply
impressed veins and are oblong to ovate shaped. It bears white
flowers in dense clusters from late June into July. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The foliage of 'Straka Gold'
combines the gold color of 'Gold Regal' with the form of
H. montana. Interestingly, its flower color and scape height do
				not match either parent."
