						  Originated by
						Steven Hamblin and
registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1999, this is a cultivar of unidentified parentage. The mound grows to 14 inches high and 38 inches wide
with broadly ovate, moderately corrugated foliage of thick
substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July into August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This rare
Frances Williams of Massachusetts introduction has the look of a
						H. 'Sieboldiana'
 type, yet is
much smaller...Eunice V. Fisher wrote that it turns green later in
				the year (Fisher 1979)."

						 "Plant
is a viridescent yellow form that is smaller than the species. Turns all-green."
Schmid (1991) cites
									Elizabeth Nesmith
of Fairmount Gardens in Massachusetts and
									L. Phillips
of Massachusetts as co-originators with Hamblin.
