| This sport of H. 'Island Charm' was registered by
Alex Malloy of New York in 2000. It forms a small size mound
about 9 inches high by 20 inches wide. The leaves are ovate,
wavy and have smooth texture. Its pale purple flowers have
				reddish purple scapes.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy

							 and Michael Shadrack
(2010) says: "Grows well in good light in cooler climates and can
quickly fill the corner of a trough or the back of a
raised bed. Contrasting foliage makes it a standout
in the dappled shade of a woodland walk."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
				Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "An attractive hosta for all climates if carefully
sited. Divide frequently...Differs from its parent in having
greater vigor and a significantly wider margin with less
streaking and splashing. The bracts are pink margined green."
