An article by Warren I. Pollock in
			The
Hosta Journal (2013 Vol. 44 No. 1) states that, "Frank Nyikos...wanted to register the cultivar name H. 'Faux Chihuly' in 2011.
Difficulties occurred, so he changed the name to 'Forgery'. Still, 'Faux Chihuly'
was registered...The error is corrected in the 2012 Registrations issue...Chihuly's
staff...objected to the Faux part of the name..."

							"H. ‘Faux
Chihuly’ (2011) – Due to potential concerns over the
meaning imparted by this name the registrant has
requested, after the issue had gone to printer, that
the name be changed to H. ‘Forgery’ and thus,
has been changed in the registration archive to H.
‘Forgery’. Further, as it was published, albeit
incorrectly, and attached to a description, the
registrar formally announces that the incorrect name
is also removed from possible future use."
