						   This cultivar was 
						registered by 
						Russ Willar of Ontario, Canada in 2008 as a sport of H. 'Olive 
						Bailey Langdon'. It is a large size plant about 24 
						inches high by 46 inches wide with chartreuse yellow 
						colored leaves. The foliage is slightly rippled, broadly 
						ovate, slightly  cupped, heavily corrugated and dull on 
						top with thick substance. Near white, tubular flowers 
						bloom from mid-June into July. 
			 
An article by Warren I. Pollock in 
			The 
				Hosta Journal (2009 Vol. 40 No. 3) states that the 
cultivar H. 'L.E.W.' was named by 
Russ Willar for his wife, Linda Ellen Willar.
