  A hybrid of H. 'Elegans' 
×  H. montana,  this 
				cultivar was registered in 2012 by 
				Diana Grenfell of 
				England . It forms a 
giant 
size (36 inches high by 70 inches wide) mound of slightly 
				corrugated, cupped, elliptic to ovate foliage 
				with thick substance. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from June into July 
and it sets viable seeds. 
						The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
				Diana 
				Grenfell (2009) states: "Long leaf blade and impressive flower scape 
weighed down by the long, heavy raceme." 
			 
  An article by Warren I. Pollock in 
			The 
				Hosta Journal (2001 Vol. 32 No. 2)  states that, "H. 
'Prince of Wales' is a brand-new cultivar, a large blue-leaved  
						H. 'Sieboldiana'
