This seedling of H. 'Donahue Piecrust' is part of the "Sea
				Series" of hostas from
Mildred Seaver
of Massachusetts who registered it in 2004. It grows to
about 24 inches in height with a spread of around 53 inches. The
medium green colored foliage is intensely rippled, wavy
						and
moderately corrugated with a distinct tip. Pale lavender flowers
				bloom from mid-June into July.
						According to

The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "It makes a fabulous mound of piecrust-edged foliage that
can be used as a background plant or large ground cover.
Hybridizers wishing to add rippled edges to their seedlings
should consider adding 'Sea Frolic' to their breeding program."
An article by Warren I. Pollock in
			The
Hosta Journal (2014 Vol. 45 No. 2) states that, "...'Sea
Frolic', a 2004 registration of the late
Mildred Seaver, has green leaves that
are strongly piecrusted, with glaucous bloom on top and underside."
