This sport of H. 'Frances Williams' was originated by
			Frances Williams
of Massachusetts and registered by
Peter Ruh of Ohio on her behalf in 1998. The
large size
clump grows about 24 inches in height with a spread of 50
inches. Its heavily corrugated blue-green foliage has chartreuse
to gold colored marginal variegation. The leaves are deeply
lobed at the base and have thick substance. Its near white
flowers bloom from mid-June into July.
						According to

The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...does not develop spring desiccation burn as much as
'Frances Williams' making it a better choice."

An article titled Too Many Lookalikes by
Bob Keller in
			The
Hosta Journal (2010 Vol. 41 No. 2) states that, "There
are many registered 'Frances Williams' lookalikes including H. 'Aurora Borealis', H. 'Squash Edge', 'Holly's Green and Gold', 'Golden Circles' and
'Olive Bailey Langdon', as well as some unregistered ones."
